MOTHERS DAY

I was invited to a crowning of the Queens party at MJ's kindergarten class for Mother's Day last Friday. The kids sang a song and we watched a video and had treats. MJ was very excited to have me there to celebrate.

My beautiful children. I love them dearly! It's such a privilege to be their mom.

We went up to Midway to spend Mother's Day with the Fitzgerald Clan.
Aren't these girls the cutest?

Jeremy and his grandparents.

Jeremy and his mom.

...and with his parents.

The boys went for a "ride" after dinner. The looks on my boys faces when they left was so cute, by their smiles they thought they were the coolest kids ever. They love their uncles.

I finally found this picture now that I'm packing. I wanted to put it in the B-day book we made for her. It was taken 11 or so years ago when we were both Relief Society Presidents at the same time and was put in the Stake History book. I love you Mom!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

George had to tryout this year for baseball instead of just being placed on a team. It's player pitch and they get real team uniforms. They have umps and he plays on the diamond field. Yeah! We've been waiting for this year to come for a while. It's the real deal. His team is the Yankees, which he was so excited about. He has a great team, most of them played last year. It's ages 9-11.

He played short stop today. He hit the ball every time at bat too which is great.

On first base ready to run. He's so calm out there just takes it as it comes.

At bat......
Now that this is the real thing, I get so anxious for him. I want him to do good, which he is doing so I don't need to worry, but I still do. I think it's 'cause I know this sport from playing it myself better than the other sports he plays. It's one of my favorites.

I wanted a picture of him, but he was to embarrassed to with his friends nearby, so this is what I got. I get this look a lot. He doesn't like taking time for me take pictures of him anymore. I just don't get it, what's the big deal, right? Sometimes I know I can be a little annoying to my children, but that's what moms do best.

Mason's Baseball Skills

This kids a natural. He might be small, but watch out he's one heck of a hitter.
His 2 favorite sports are baseball and soccer. He's in the machine pitch league this year and he's doing such a good job.

Mason and MJ have practice every Tue. George has practices Mon. and Wed. And then all 3 have games every Sat. plus a few week night games too. Talk about busy. We were at the park from 9:00 to 1:30 today. There games were all back to back.

The boys chillin' watching MJ's game.

MJ Playing Baseball

MJ decided to play baseball this year like her brothers instead of doing dance or gymnastics. Last week was their first game but it was freezing. Today was so much nicer. It's finally spring around here.
She's doing such a great job for her first time with a sport. She's the only girl on her team, but of course she doesn't mind.
She's in the coach pitch league. They get five pitches to try to hit the ball and then if they don't they put it on a tee. Well for her they have put it on the tee every time. It's something we need to work on but that's ok.

She got to play catcher. Can you see her in there? It was hurting her head so she didn't like it very much, I don't think she'll be so quick to volunteer next time for that position. She actually sat there like that the whole time and a sister on the other team came over to help her throw the balls back.

Our new adventure

We've had a lot happen lately and I stop blogging 'cause I don't know where to start. So the latest exciting news is that we are moving. Jeremy got a job offer about a month ago to manage a Pro Image store. It's in Marysville, Wa. We are very excited for the new adventure. To preface all this Jeremy lost his Fanzz job in Jan. which really sucked and shocked us. You just never think It'll happen to you, well it did. So he was on the hunt for a new job immediately. 3 days later he was hired to be Branch Manager for US Bank at the Smith's just down the road from us. He has no banking experience, but 9 years of management experience. We were just so grateful he had a job and that he found one so quick. He enjoyed it at first learning and being trained by them. But it's just not for him. So a month ago a guy that used to work for Fanzz, but now Pro Image, called and asked if he'd be interested. And of course he was. They got together a couple times to talk and discuss the deal. Well it was finalized a few weeks ago. So here we go. We put our house up for sale this week. So this really is happening. Some days feel like a daze, when there's so much to think about yet you can't think at all. That's how I've felt lately. My last day as a teacher's aid at the school was today so that I can concentrate on packing and getting everything ready to go. We'll be outta here on the 30th. They want Jeremy to start on June 1st. They have to get the store set up and get people hired. It's at an outlet mall 40 miles north of Seattle called Seattle Premium Outlets.

My parents live in Olympia, which will be a couple hours away. On my Dad's 60th birthday they drove up to a tulip festival and on the way they stopped to see the store where Jeremy will be and took pictures for us. So here it is. Here is the beautiful city we will be visiting often.

And the tulip festival that is about 20 miles north of Marysville.

It's going to be so different than our life here in Utah. We've loved it so much here. It's where we started our married life and our family 10 years ago. It's hard to picture anything else than what we know. But yet we are ready to start over and make a new chapter in our families adventures. We are going to be hoping for visitors as much as possible. hint hint. So that we don't get too home sick from our friends and family here in Utah.
So wish us luck and thank goodness for blogs and facebook to keep in touch. It's a tearful goodbye yet happy homecoming to be close to my parents and sister and her family who are only a couple hours away as well.
A couple weeks ago Maryjane came in my room to talk to me and this was before we knew for sure that we were moving and she said "Mom, if we move I want to change my name to Chloe. I don't want to be Maryjane anymore." So I guess for her moving to a new place means changing her name too. So when I told her I don't think so, she just wants it to be her middle name then. She's always trying to convince me to change her name and call her something different. Her favorite names are Chloe, Emma, and Lily, which are also the names she uses for her dolls. Oh my precious girl. Love her to pieces.

We Love You

We love you grandma and grandpa. We love coming to your house and eating good food, playing with John, Paul, Annie and Julie, shooting the airsoft guns off the deck, taking walks around the golf course and neighborhood, and playing in the playroom under the stairs. Thanks for all the fun and spoiling us.
