Happy 60th B-Day Mom!

This last weekend my brother and sisters and I flew to Washington to surprise my mom for her 60th b-day, Nov. 2nd. We flew in on the 31st and stayed til Mon. the 3rd. She had no idea we were coming. We showed up at their door dressed as ghosts for Halloween. They never get trick or treaters, they live on a gated street. So we show up and say trick or treat. She looks at us a little funny and then says "ok, let me get some candy", a little perplexed. JJ pushed me inside, so we all went in and she looked back and said "Did I ask you come in?" Ryan kept saying trick or treat in funny voices that made us all laugh and it gave us away. So it was quite a shock. We thought it was going to be a little obvious with the guess who signs and Ryan and Marnie wrote ghost of 73 and 69, their birth years. But she said she didn't even notice the signs or that there was 5 of us. So, so funny. Notice Ryan is carrying a tiny little pumpkin for his treat bucket. He thinks he's hilarious, in which most cases he is. (The other night after our trip I was watching Seinfeld and realized that Ryan is the Jerry Seinfeld in our family. Always making us laugh.) We took her out to dinner to Salty's, of course a seafood restaurant, on the Puget Sound. So beautiful.

We made a book with pictures of us as babies and then growing up as a family and we each wrote memories about her. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing her face reading the book. She loved it.

Our candle light dinner. We each ate a 3 course dinner. Yum Yum Yum.

On the dock outside the restaurant. What a cute family. We love hanging out as adults.

What a cute couple!!

Me and my Mom. I love you!!!
(I discovered after the book that we don't have very many pictures of just the 2 of us together, so from now on every time we are together I'm going to make sure we get one.)

Happy 10th Then and Now

I can't believe it's been 10 years. And we're just as happy now as we were then. We celebrated our 10th anniversary last week on Oct. 29th. We went out to dinner and Jeremy's mom and grandparents joined us. I took pictures but I erased all the pictures on my memory card so they're gone forever. Oh well.
These are pictures of pictures, so not the best quality. I'm going to get a scanner soon and then I'll be able to finally make a wedding album with all my pictures too. Don't we look so young.

But we look even better now, I think. So happy in love. I love this picture of us. Even after 10 years and 3 kids we're still able to keep the marriage a priority. We love our date nights and love eachother. We are so blessed, what more could I ask for.

Halloween Oct 31, 2008

Happy Haunting!!!!

George turns 9, Oct 30th

I feel like I was just posting George's birthday last year like it was yesterday. How does time fly by so fast. I can't believe he's 9. But I'm so excited for him. How did he get so cute.
He wanted to go to the Nickelcade for his party, so we invited a couple friends and cousins to join us.

All the kids getting there prizes.

Carving Pumpkins

We grew these pumpkins in our backyard. We are very proud of them. 19 in all.
They picked their favorites to carve.
Kitty cat
Jack-o-lantern
Dracula
The boys carved their pumpkins all by themselves.

Mommy Daughter Date

We got together and went to dinner and to see High School Musical 3. We had a great time. The movie was great too. I think the mom's were just as excited to see it as the girls. Ya gotta see it. I'm so glad we have such good friends to hang out with.

Fall Break at the Sand Dunes

We're playing catch up on blogging now. We spent a day at the Sand Dunes with Jeremy's family for Fall Break. We had such a good time and it was a beautiful day.
Cute family picture.

The whole clan minus a couple.

Run and Jump!

Mason sledding down.

It's been a while since I posted any pictures. We have been quite busy to say the least. The last part of Oct. is probably one of the busiest weeks of the whole year for our family.
