Cut the Fro!!

George came home the other day and asked if he could get a hair cut. I said what?? Really?? So we did. He's a new boy. Everyone has to take second glances to see if it's really him. It's always nice for a change. He gets so hot and sweaty with his long hair and was wanting to get ready for summer and the heat, which will be here someday I hope, sooner than later. You wouldn't know it by the look of our yard from the weekends snow.

Easter

Our Easter was spent at home this year. We've spent a lot of Easters in the past in California, so this year was fun too, just being home. We went to the local park and did the Easter egg hunt. Although there wasn't much hunting, it was get as many eggs as you can in your baskets 'cause it only lasted all of 8 seconds. They had prizes in the eggs, but all we got were free ice cream cones at Arctic Circle, which was good enough. And then on Easter Sunday Jeremy's family came over for dinner and we had another easter egg hunt and died eggs. It was a lot of fun, good food and good company.

Look At Me!!!!!

No more training wheels for this girl. Man is she growing up fast. On Saturday Jeremy and the boys were out riding bikes and she wanted to try without training wheels and she did it right away. It's pretty fun to watch how grown up she acts. All 3 now have learned to ride without training wheels at 4 years old. Hopefully now our family bike rides will be a little easier and enjoyable now that it will be easier and funner for her to ride her bike. Way to go MJ!!

Prank on Jeremy

The guys at Jeremy's work played a prank on him this week. They put this on the back of our car, and of the course the best part is that he didn't notice for a couple of days. Pretty funny. They love doing stuff to him 'cause he's such a good sport, but they do know the he gets them back some way some how.

Maryjane

Maryjane is our little girly girl. And finally she got her ears pierced. She was so excited and didn't even flinch. She said it didn't hurt. Either she's really tough or they've changed the gun since I had my ears done. And she got to choose the cutest pink and white daisy earrings. She's very proud of them. (I took pictures with my phone and then took pictures of the phone.)

She also has a weird foot thing that I thought would be fun to share. She stands and walks on her toes. She's been doing it ever since she could walk. Maybe someday it will come in handy. Weird huh?

Quilting

I'm taking a quilt class once a month and loving it. I've always wanted to learn. Last summer I took a class and made the cutest quilt although it's still not finished yet. But hanging on my wall anyway.

The quilt class I'm taking now is being taught by a friends mom and we are learning how to make a sampler quilt, so we are learning a different technique for each block. It's proving to be as difficult as I thought. It's hard to be perfect and exact, but I'm trying. We are making 2 blocks every month, so these are my first 2 blocks. I'm having a blast learning a new hobbie.
