Last weekend Ma♥Key and Poppa came over for a visit.
They came to George's baseball game.
It was a rainy muddy mess of a game,
but at least they were able to see him play.
He played catcher and shortstop this game.
Then after the game we picked up Jeremy from work
and went up to see the beautiful tulip fields.
Field after field are rows and rows of different colored tulips
all over the town of La Conner.
As we drove up there the rain stopped and the sky cleared
turning it into a perfect day.
Next to the tulips was a field of clovers.
It became the kids' mission to find 4 leaf clovers.
Way more interesting for them, than to be looking at the tulips of course.
Well, 2 succeeded.
MJ even found a 5 leaf clover.
MJ was not cooperative at all.
Can you tell.
She wanted nothing to do with the camera.
She was being a little stink.
Inside the gift shop we saw this:
Pretty darn funny, and true.
I'm so glad the day turned out so perfect for Ma♥Key and Poppa's visit.
I want to go back,
with boys w/ haircuts, nicer outfits and a little girl smiling for the camera.
Is that too much to ask?

That might be to much to ask of MJ ;) That is so frustrating when the kiddos don't cooperate for pics! Those tulip fields are gorgeous and it makes for a nice family picture, maybe better luck next time!!!!
It was a Perfect Day! I wish we would have got a picture of the third baseman colliding with the pitcher to take out a runner going to home plate & the catcher standing at home plate waiting for someone to throw the ball to "Him"~those poor boys just covered in mud & the mud just running down their back sides in the cracks of their poor little rear ends! HILARIOUS!!!! ENJOYED Our Day With You ALL!!!!
so fun! We are doing the baseball thing right now too! Just started..we will see how the season goes! And WOW you all look awesome and the tulips are GORGEOUS!!!!!
Wow!!! who needs to go to Holland to see the tulip fields when they are right in your "backyard". So beautiful. Kids just don't appreciate it's beauty right now. And, yes, it's too much to ask to get kids to cooperate for pictures. Only in a perfect world. I've been prepping my kids all week that for Mother's day all I want is a nice picture with my kids. It helped, but it was still our annual fight and complaining picture.
